Just stayed here for 3 nights, used a SUA to upgrade to the Lily Dam Suite, which was a great use! Large room, two balconies, 1.5 bath (and the water closet was quite large for a half bath).
The hotel is very cute and gives off boutique vibes, definitely doesn't have too many rooms, so it's relatively quiet. They have a restaurant and bar downstairs, and there's a T station (subway) a couple hundred feet from the hotel. Very convenient location.
As others have mentioned, there's no AC at this hotel, and it can run quite hot in the summer time. Even staying at the beginning of September where the weather was in the high 60s during the day and 50s in the night, it was pretty hard to sleep as it got quite toasty. They do have some fans in the room that help, but we needed to open the windows during the evening to help cool the room. Can't really open the windows at night because it gets quite loud next to a major street.
Otherwise, the shower had great water pressure, bed was relatively comfortable (pillows were way too soft for me), and the room was generally clean. Definitely an older building (as are most European hotels), so don't expect modern amenities - pretty much no USBs anywhere except for the TV, though the TVs were large 55" screens.
One nice note is that they had universal adapters available to borrow for free! Grabbed two of them and returned them at the end of the trip for no charge.
Overall, great stay only marred by the lack of AC, though I knew that going in. I would probably opt for a hotel with AC next time I'm in the area, but aside from that, Story was a great place with a convenient location!
