Qantas have no option. They use mainline Australian aircraft which have these seats regardless so getting rid of them isn't possible without moving back to their own dedicated fleet.

Air NZ have explained on multiple occasions over the years that having a business cabin simply doesn't stack up, and it also limit options when the shorthaul international aircraft are used domestically.
