Just finished up a stay here using points. Got an off peak night prior to the hotel jumping up a category. Booked a standard room and got a free Globalist upgrade to a Studio Coastline view with balcony. The room is large and the bathroom is huge with a large shower and soaking tub. I know some have complained about the decor. My wife and I really liked it. It’s very “driftwood beachy” for sure. We live just 2 miles from here so it suits the coastal vibe.

Vaga was excellent for dinner and breakfast. The Pocket is now open to the public so we will probably hit it occasionally for lunch or sunset beverages. We’ve got an upcoming stay at the Park Hyatt (which is even closer to our home) so I’ll be able to compare.

Glad we got it before the category jump and it added another brand badge.
