I too have been wondering about some hallway art at RC HMB. Looking for the artist, I asked guest services on a recent stay who reached out to Facilities team who procures the art onsite, but they came up blank as well.

My guess on the subject is Jeff Clark, legendary Mavericks surfer. However, don’t know the artist.

Any help/leads appreciated.

EDIT: Finally found out it's from photographer Dave Nelson's book "Dual Perspective" and the subject is surfer Nate Yeomans:
