If it's actually a full DL Y fare, then it's likely going to be expensive and should generate a decent number of Skymiles. These will generally give you more flexibility (Pay with Miles and such) and the miles don't expire. There's no real point to credit to other programs if you don't ever earn enough miles on them for an actual redemption. Also, trying to leverage status from one program while crediting miles to a different program generally does not work very well.
As noted below, Skymiles MUAs are not available on KE operated flights no matter who the marketing carrier is. They are only available on flights operated by VS, KL, and AF. Also, the mileage amounts have been increased recently.
