Somewhere I did stay recently, not in Bali, was Phuket IC and this was excellent. Food was amazing and I gleefully woke for breakfast & thoroughly enjoyed room service & restaurants. Tough act to follow for IC Jimbaran however I've never felt this way about any of the other ~10 IC/Kimpton/Regents (Asia/MENA/NA) I've stayed at over the past 12-18 months. In fact I've rarely had anything bad to say about any 5 star hotel!
I agree restaurants at IC Phuket were really good, better than at IC Bali (although club is better in Bali). The resort is newer so rooms are nicer, but I'm not a fan of the resort layout, very "dense" and cut by the road.
