I had a good experience in the "restaurant" once, but usually there's a significant wait.
Breakfast in any Polaris lounge is underwhelming at the buffet, nothing special about it. UA puts little thought put into a making an interesting breakfast buffet. But I struggle to think of any really good lounge for a breakfast buffet. (OK, the FC Kris lounge in SIN has a much better selection of fruit.) At least with Polaris if you have the time and inclination you can get something substantially better at the sit-down dining room.
I think the Arrivals lounge at SFO was a bit better. It was small, well managed, and while they had eggs out on the small buffet they would also cook fresh eggs any way you wanted. The Polaris lounge in SFO is the polar opposite, it can feel like a train station at rush hour when it gets busy. And the staff struggle to keep up.
