Not disagreeing...BUT: is it really that much better anywhere else?
Talking buffet only now (don't think I ever sat down at the restaurant at SFO Polaris lounge), the food is pretty poor at all Polaris lounges, IMO.
ORD maybe a bit ahead of the pack, but overall, you'd have to be approaching starvation to call any buffet food at Polaris lounges "great", especially comparing it to roll-out offerings.

SFO at least used to have some unique & special items at the far end of the lounge; although maybe geared more toward the younger patrons. Unfortunately those food items seem to have mostly disappeared now too.
