iluvdoco - Well looking at the most recent pictures above, it looks like this is rather some sort of a "Kaiserschmarn inspired" baked item rather than an Apfelstrudel. No Austrian would dare to massacre a traditional Apfelstrudel like this. So I think you will still have to order one as an extra to enjoy it, e.g. during afternoon coffee / tea time. Plenty of places that serve it as you will know, but I can understand the allure of having some of it to close out breakfast if it were offered.
