In my experience, Hilton has the best in-app technology, including mobile key. Almost rarely I would need to interact with the front desk anymore, other than to get some bottle water (if not available in-room).
I agree 100% with Hilton I'm happy to use the mobile key exclusively, the Marriott version is so slow and clunky I always ask for a regular key and just use the mobile as a back up.
