Many post about multiple cards with Chase many same type in 2 month intervals. DP's seem limited on how many of each type you cna have. As for AMEX --- they cna be a nice bank and mean bank so someone being denied a SUB due to a tax payment si just Amex being Amex.

The linked thread/situation has few details and based on those few details (and other posts on that thread and other threads) it’s likely that there are many others who have “churned” a greater number of "the same card" without adverse affects.
