I had the same problem, so spoke with them, once you reach silver it shows has reset so you know you need 400 more within the year to stay silver, but the points still count.
It's partly my fault for a lack of due diligence, but being used to BAEC I thought the tier points carried over. Just booked again to take advantage of the 20K reward points on flights booked in UC until tonight. However miffed I am, comparing the old Club World on BA and the UC on the VS TLV route I find them equal in irritation, but VS on the ground are miles ahead so no regrets.
