If you had provided the relevant information about your route, you would have received the relevant answer for you.

Instead you were directed to AA's luggage policy, which you now seem to think was an insult, instead of realising that only very few AA flights offer a checked bag allowance and that you were lucky enough to be on one of them. Nothing to do with the booking method and IB is most definitely not buying luggage for anybody booking AA domestic flights for example.

I would also like to point out that dozens of people have been on this forum looking for a non-existent refund/change on AA award flights booked through IB+. So I find myself forced to repeat myself in every partner-related thread on the IB+ board, so that others don't make the same mistake.
