Indeed, much better to take 2 window seats.

The rows windows/center are not exactly aligned and you will be quite sideway (meaning a bit back to back).
Also it would be quite unpleasant for the surrounding seats if you keep chatting from such a distance.
Better to stand up a couple of times and go chat with wifey.
