If memory serves me correct, two hours at the Montparnasse train station in Paris will set you back 10 euro. An hour at the Sheraton CDG (for a non-guest) is 35 euro. 8 bucks for a day's access? Seems like a bargain by comparison.

Remember. even though it may be profitable to offer the service at $1/hr, the company has no obligation to. They'll charge what they market will bear. If their pricing model is good, they win. If not, they lose or change it.

To answer the original question, yes, I would pay $8 if I needed to be connected to the net.
