for award ticket, it will take the higher pricing if one segment of the itin does not operate with a certain cabin.
E.g. ZRH-SIN-BKK in F will price as ZRH-BKK Fcl.
For your case SFO-SIN-SYD where the longer segment does not operate F, i am unsure if they will price SFO-SYD Fcl all the way - prob have to call in to check. But honestly i don't see any way to optimise the miles except booking two separate segments - mgiht give you more flexibility in search for avail also, as through Origin-destination SFO-SYD on ideal connections may not be easy to find.
