Can't answer all your questions but I'll try
Adult only pool 7 days a week 8 AM to 8 PM.
My understanding the renovations may likely all be done or most of them.Sadly most of it it is not pretty or an improvement .
Would say one of the worst refreshes I've ever seen in a 5 Star property. It was a budget hack job.
Add mis-matching colored marble tiles in bathrooms (closeout tiles?) and gaudy decor that of an upscale bordello.
Of course some may like this with all the ornate fringe etc certainly subjective.
The property itself was a beauty its takes talent to mess it up as it was built almost perfect other than window soundproofing
It always amazes me where some properties will spend money without a certain future return on their investment and do frivolous stuff for their brand ego
The hallways went from elegant dark zen to overly glaring & bright

Really what were they thinking.Someone got paid for this?
You now see every scratch bang and nick on the walls from decades ago.
So many nice people that work there still especially Zen (Mandarin O training)
but slowly but surely its just not what it used to be.
Management has driven away some great folks sadly.
The Mandarin had it right and I hoped Hilton would have only improved on the hard product like Beverly Hills but not even close.
Still its Hilton and folks will come to burn points or utilize CC benefits I get it .
The fitness center is out of date and they haven't spent a nickel to replace with the latest work out machines.
The front of the hotel lately still has all construction going on as they work to relocate the lobby to the main floor
with no end in sight.I would have done the rooms refresh properly and redone a proper new gym and that would
have brought guests back at almost any price
Still a solid breakfast @ Zen
And its still 100 x better than the Resorts World who are not honest, transparent fair to HH guests despite
having a beautiful facility. The continue to have the worst ratings in an upscale property in history and thats saying something.
How do you spend 5 billion and pi#s customers off consistently?
In that regard I'll happily stay with the Waldorf given the choice reversing my previous thought process not long ago.
