Somethings definitely changed behind the desk.

I’ve been presented with “you rented a midsize, you’ll get a midsize” more in the last month than ever before in 10 years. The billing-in-full at time of pickup seems dependent on the agent. I’m about 50/50 on being billed the full amount at pickup. There’s been a change in the number and type of personal questions they ask, as well. Previously they would just ask me to verify my birthday, but recently I’ve been asked to verbally verify the last 4 digits of the credit card and my home address.
