A few years ago Hilton decided to add further categories to make more money without making any changes to the rooms. An Exec Corner would become a Junior, maybe even Exec were just all sold the same price but some were a bit different.
That's where there are a lot of lacklustre Junior Suites and full suites (former Junior) in many hotels.
