Good morning everyone!

Sorry for the delay in finishing this TR I have been crazy busy with work. Although it is technically off season in Florida, I cannot help but wonder what happened to it, as work seems to get busier and busier every year, which is never a bad thing. Anyway, I digress. After a delightful sleep from the day before, which was just a bit more relaxing than the two days prior but still a lot of fun, I awakened at about 7:30AM on Thursday, September 8th, 2022. This was my last full day in Vegas as the day after, I would fly home in the afternoon from Harry Reid International Airport to West Palm Beach via Atlanta on Delta. For this last full day, my plan was to visit the Wynn and Encore Resorts, as I had not been to either one since they opened after the last time I had visited Las Vegas in the Summer of 2001.After that, I would then visit The Venetian and Palazzo, where I would revisit the Grand Canal Shops and possibly have lunch at Estiatorio Milos (
https://www.estiatoriomilos.com/Restaurant/LasVegas), which also has outposts in New York City and Miami as far as I know. I would plan on going here as according to "The Unofficial Guide to Las Vegas," they have a ***** rating for food quality on their menu, which has an emphasis on Greek cuisine and seafood, which I both enjoy. While it is usually pricey due to it being a fancier restaurant, my goal was to have lunch here, as they have a three course lunch special in the high $30s-low $40s, including entrees like Dorade Royale (Whole Grilled Seabream) and a Faroe Islands Wild Salmon, making it a bargain for the quality by Vegas standards. Since I figured on having lunch here, after I got cleaned up for the day, I dressed in a pair of dress pants and a short sleeve polo shirt. At about 9:40AM, I left my room, ready to visit the Wynn and Encore! After taking the elevator down, I then walked through The District, the sleek but staid shopping area of Resorts World, as its exit is far closer to The Strip than the Conrad's, as I had learned the night before. Walking through The District, I first passed Caviar Bar, a restaurant specializing in seafood and true to their name, caviar!
I then saw this red, crushed Volkswagen in a near perfect sphere shape! Why would they do this to such a cute car?

Looking up at the ceilings, the hanging flowers and monkey cutouts gave off a decidedly barrel of monkeys vibe.

As I got closer to the exit to The Strip, the gigantic projection orb had a blue fish swimming through a fish tank, which was pretty neat!

Right before the exit from The District, I saw a bust with a scaled down replica of the Stardust sign, a touching tribute to the property that once occupied these grounds.

About ten minutes later with the time being nearly 10:00AM, I then found myself in front of the Wynn and Encore. I ended up entering via the Encore's entrance, which was lined with many lush palm trees.

After ascending one of the two small escalators from street level, sculptures of multicolored butterflies caught my eye!

I made my way into the Encore under the port cochere, which had an elegant, dome shaped chandelier.

After entering the Encore, the atmosphere felt opulent, tropical, and colorful, with what appeared to be a red felt wall lined with sculptures of flowers, a sculpture of a butterfly, and a couple of vases atop a dark wooden chest in front of the wall.

A couple of mannequins also caught my eye.

Once further in, it was clear this was a five star hotel! The vestibule leading in had elegant chandeliers on the ceiling, pots with palm trees, and ornate carpet in the center of the floor, which was red with a gold diamond pattern as well as butterflies in spots.

Walking through the vestibule, the off white marble floors, which also had gold lines forming diamonds and more butterfly patterns were first class all the way!

I was especially impressed with the butterfly design on the floor, which showed great attention to detail with the multicolored small tile pieces forming a mosaic.

As I was taking pictures, I placed a bottle of the Perrier I was drinking on the floor. Within seconds, one of the employees, who was very kind and attentive to detail, picked it up right away. He wanted to know what I thought of the Wynn and Encore and I told him from the little I saw, I was amazed as the resort was gorgeous! The employee could not have been happier and since he had to go back to work, he wished me a wonderful day! Further into the Encore, the opulent atmosphere continued and the casino, which was airy and spacious, was no exception. In addition the many plantings and palms especially lent to a tropical feel too!

As I was walking around, I even checked out one of the souvenir shops and they even go all out for your furry friends!
I noticed that even the House Phones had an elegant and retro style.
With its use of bright reds and opulent, yet tropical style, the Encore/Wynn would definitely not be out of place in a tropical area!

I saw a table service restaurant nearby, thinking it could be a viable lunch option. I don't remember the name of it, but even for a more basic restaurant, it was a bit pricey, with entrees being around $40. Nevertheless, I continued to take in the opulence of the Encore/Wynn, then checking out the Wynn Plaza Shops, a row of luxury retailers connecting the Encore to the Wynn. Just like the Encore, the elegance continued, with golden chandeliers that had shaded lamps off of each arm complete with matching moldings from the ceiling, marble flooring, and inside the marble flooring, red carpeting with floral patterns, similar to the carpeting with butterfly patterns I had seen earlier. The Wynn Plaza Shops were lined with many luxury retailers, including Balenciaga.

I passed the XS Nightclub, which is considered one of the best nightclubs in Vegas.
I then passed Amiri as I got closer to the Wynn tower, but this chandelier, with lavender and green leaf like crystals on the end and the body containing crystals of multiple colors was what really caught my eye!

It was marvelous and I had to get a picture of it up close!

And before I knew it, I was arriving at the Wynn tower.
After arriving in the Wynn tower, I found that it had the same tropical opulence, even down to the flooring choices that its sibling, the Encore had. As I walked around, I passed The Buffet. I thought about eating here, as the $45/person price was very reasonable and it is not everyday I get to eat at top notch buffets.

The time was nearing 11:00AM, so it was right near lunchtime. I asked the smartly dressed hostess, whose name was Camara (spelling?) if I could take a look at the buffet, as I was leaning towards having lunch. She kindly invited me in and allowed me to take a look! Seeing how good everything looked and loving the opulent atmosphere, I decided to dine here. Since there was no wait, I was escorted to a table immediately. How would The Buffet at Wynn compare to Bacchanal at Caesars Palace? Wait and see!
