There isn't a right or a wrong answer but it's food for thought that I'm interested in the views of others on.
It’d be interesting know how many RUs are lodged by those with those with pretty fixed dates. I suspect a fair number. Contrast that with the ‘open award’ situation you have to go looking for award seats on your own/partner carrier (but at least this is possible), then you are necessarily flexible on what is available.
I think not clearing RUs whilst making award seats available to other programs would be a poor move for NZ customers.
