The Marquis and the downtown Hyatt are also connected to the rabbit-warren of tunnels, enclosed walkways and passages that connect several blocks of Midtown Atlanta.
I've stayed in the Marquis several times. It's a standard downtown high-rise hotel with pretty standard service (at the high end, since you're in a prime location and paying more). Very dramatic open-interior design (look out of the glass elevator as you shoot up 40-odd stories to the club level. Rooms are as you'd expect, nothing special.
However, be advised -- as one poster said -- that there are sometimes conventions here. Great if you're attending the convention, notso-hotso if you aren't.
