FWIW, while it doesn't seem daily, and maybe not around your dates, but at least some of the frequencies in December show up in EF as the new 77W with 1-2-1 layout, Google Flights refers to them as individual suites, and KL is marketing them as 1-2-1 as well.
Great point on the KLM refurb 777. I did notice that the new aircraft was listed on my dates. And the Y > J upgrade path on cheaper Y fare was very enticing. But that still meant YYZ-AMS in old plane and in general I think the soft product on KL sucks. I was willing to pay the $800 fare difference on AF for PE (A class) to use the GUC on AF roundtrip.
