Taxi from CAI to Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel

We will arrive at CAI at 1150p (ten minutes to midnight) on October 26 and need to get to the Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel (almost to the Nile, just south of the Qasr el Nil bridge). We've had multiple recommendations that we should NOT listen to any taxi touts that accost us at baggage claim, but conflicting recommendations as to what we SHOULD do. Those include going outside the terminal to a taxi stand (yet one person said there is no such thing), getting an Uber in advance, and pre-ordering a trip with Cairo Airport Shuttle (cairoshuttlebus.com). What do locals, or experienced visitors, suggest for two old-but-fit, probably tired after BOS-DOH-CAI, reasonably experienced, travelers who speak no Arabic and will be visiting Egypt for the first time?

(I searched for threads on this topic, but didn't find anything more recent than 2011.)
