Jetstar Japan questions
Hello folks:
I am thinking of taking a domestic Jetstar flight from Narita to Fukuoka at 12pm, after landing at Narita from Vietnam at 6:44am on a Tue on JL. My questions:
1. There is a 5-hour buffer between the two flights, which are in different itineraries. I will purchase a flexible Jetstar ticket just in case I need to change to a later flight, to play safe. The next Jetstar flight is at 3pm. Do you think this 5-hour buffer is sufficient?
2. How is Jetstar Japan in general? I flew Jetstar from HKG to DAD once and was delayed for 4 hours. Later in the year, I flew from SIN to SGN also on Jetstar and was delayed for 2 hours.
In general, I am not a big fan of low cost airlines. However, if I choose to fly JL or NH from Tokyo to FUK, then I will have to first go to Haneda. I am ok with this, but making this extra trip means that I will lose an extra two hours on the Narita-Haneda limo bus.
From a cost perspective, the Jetstar option is almost the same as the JL/NH option.
I'd appreciate any comments you may have. Thanks!
