I'm not sure I understand this comment. Yes, if you are in the First Class section of the lounge, you have to go through the door that connects it to the Business Class side in order to get to the restrooms, but it's not as though you have to go down the hall.

The furnishings in the CX lounge are much more modern, and in the First Class side the lounge chairs are in fact all square shaped; the ones on the Business Class side are more rounded. I haven't sat in them yet (I have spent all of my time so far sitting at one of the workstations), but I don't think they're going to disuade me from returning here over the FL.

My biggest objection to the FL is that it's been crowded every time I've been in it, whereas I am one of only two people in the CX First Class lounge. (There are maybe six or eight on the Business Class side.) So far I have found it much more relaxing.

But the bottom line is that at least we now have a choice. Presumably some of us will prefer the FL and other the CX lounge, which is better from us having no choice at all.
