While I concede DL has a way to go to fully restore the luster they once had, I find comparisons to AA to be a joke. DL has heavily invested in offering Comfort+ on its newer aircraft and continues to aspire to a service standard significantly different than AA, although they do need to be more consistent. AA seems to want to model its operation off of Spirit. It seems like MCE is a nuisance to them. I'm embarassed to bring guests into many AA clubs (including JFK and PHX), line or no.
