Food:
Breakfast was very, very good. I have lived in Korea and knew to order my steak MR (And double correcting the Chinese waitress that it is MR and not MW as they confuse the two : ). I had a steak at Ruth Christ's in San Diego earlier in the year and it can't compare to the one had had for breakfast here. Some of the best hotel food I have had.

Rooms:
Gosh, the first room they assigned to us was weird. So we asked for a King Suite and it is pretty good. Of course, this entire place is way over the top and geared for Chinese or Japanese. Actually, less so for Koreans. With the weak Yen few Japanese will come and with the situation in China I am going to guess few mainlanders as well.

Grounds:
Haven't explored them much but I went on the walking route and it is covered in slab stone. Really? That is a small fortune alone. Anyway, there are endless unique elements to ponder over.

Service:
Gosh, they hired all the sharp, good looking people. Looks like a group of K-Pops : )

Missing Details:
OK, the designers went to unreal lengths in detail. Most elements are custom made. But some operation details are missing. I am sure over time they will make some changes / updates.

Wonky Stuff:
As people commented, the layout is goofy. You park your car and go up to 6th floor, walk over to another elevator to go back down to the 3rd floor (parking level). And when we want to go to the pool we have to walk through the restaurant in your swimwear.

Pricing and Demand:
This is a Chinese owned hotel. My guess is the investors are not too concerned with ROI. They seem to be more interested in making a statement (which they have). Our room runs KRW2,000,000 - which is really high. I just can't see that many rich Koreans (I know many, many rich Koreans) coming here more than once or twice. Koreans get bored easily. I can see some rich Chinese coming as Korea is popular there. But only once. Europeans? Americans? No. Most will not appreciate the elements for the price.

Well, no way for this place to make a profit if you take capital costs into consideration. But I assume those costs are ignored and this place will be pretty cool for a while.

We are here for a week. Then back to Seoul for a week.
I'm surprised they didn't go with the RC marque for this property. It very well could be one.
