A Fresno, CA Hyatt House started construction this week. The location is on land leased from Fresno State for a commercial/residential development. The site is located across the street from the University's arena which seats up 18,000. Opening will be in 2025.

The site was originally announced in 2006 as one of the earliest Hyatt Place locations to be built by a different developer. That plan was delayed and eventually cancelled.

There is a second Hyatt Place in the pipeline for the Fresno-area, this one to be located in Clovis. It was announced late last year but I have not driven by the site to see if construction has started on it.
