2 month ago, I had a crazy travel schedule. I flew in on SQ 2, and dropped off my luggage, and flew out to CAI the next day with my rollberboard. When I returned from CAI the week after, I realized my check-in bag was damaged (the side was dented). Called SQ and they referred me to Baggage services (SATS). They created a damage report and sent someone to pick up my luggage. The next day, they sent a brand new one. I was impressed. I was travelling on J, so I wasn't sure if that mattered.
However, since yours is a box, I thought it would be consider limited liability?
I usually had to sign limited release if I had to check-in a box.
