PP is definitely my backup anywhere in the US. My home base is ORD so slim pickings there for PP and no Centurion Lounge. I have a United Club sub for that. I have used PP at DFW, IAH and LAS. IMO, PP is a mixed bag if you only use it domestically. I have not used PP for intl yet. I doubt I would pay any substantial money for PP if it didn't come as a CC benefit. I have heard that it can be a much better product outside of the US.
