So I got a person this morning after only a 15 minute wait. She indicated that within 7 days there’s no guarantee of an RU being honoured. That sort of makes sense and sort of doesn’t: why not process my RU in the queue if you’re going to accept some One Ups.

Given how business travel can be uurather last minute none of this makes entire sense. Had I confirmed an upgrade and then changed my flight I wouldn’t have expect to be able to recycle the RU.
