Checked in online for international flight out of AYT, received mobile boarding pass proceeded directly to security / gate.

I was turned around because AYT does not accept mobile boarding passes. Went back to check in line and nearly missed my flight.

if airport does not accept mobile boarding passes, TK should not issue them in online check in (and make sure there is visible warning that passengers must complete check in at the airport).

I discussed with TK supervisor who said they get many complains and blamed the airport. But I blame TK. Other airlines simply do not issue boarding pass when airport does not accept digital.

Edited to add that it was international flight.
