Makes for a fun conversation with your approver. Not sure why Avis thought this approach was a good idea for business travelers.
- Random new charge mount or two later
- No invoice detailing what it is
- Expensing it as supercharging without a receipt on the same invoice as a ICE car
I rented a Tesla with Budget about twenty days ago. Returned it with sufficient charge, always charged for free at a hotel, so never used supercharger.
Today I received a charge for $14.50 from Budget on my card. In looking into it, I see this on my most recent Budget bill:
The difference between Net Charges and Total Charges is $14.50. There is no line item explaining the $14.50. $298.08 was the price for the rental per autoslash/Priceline booking.
Do you think Budget has mis-allocated a Supercharger session to my rental?
What’s the easiest way to get this resolved? I am traveling in Europe at the moment. Don’t see email customer service. Sent DM via Twitter, but after 10+ hrs no response.
