The Osaka flight was made as part of the LHR-HND flight so based on what you've said, that should be updated too. The only issue remaining is when I will be notified of this connection so that I can make changes to my itinerary ie hotel stay in Osaka on return to catch the domestic flight in the morning or overnight stay in Tokyo.
I think it was mee suggesting calling the Japan call centre in another context, if you have access to cheap international calling. I am not clear when you write the English and the Japan version above (bolded) if you mean the English language line of the Japan call center? Generally yes, that should be better than the UK/EU call center. The Japanese language line of the Japan call center can be same or shorter wait times, all depends on the day.
