Hilton has a standardised process for PSD2 in in Europe, with a single back end. It references the PSD2 directive as part of the process.

A few hotels work separate to this, either due to local regulations or a property specific policy. Sorrento as mentioned above, has it as a local policy for example. A few others are similar with a property policy, which is why some will back down when pushed, as per the Turkish example before. The PSD2 version isn't something you can get around if and when it kicks in.
