Never seen this happen in any of my 100s of WN flights. Though sometimes the order within the G5 (e.g. 26-30) is intermixed.

I would not begrudge 1-2pp who move up to join family, particularly kids. But most of the time the families w small kids are boarding after group A.

I would be incensed if I saw a half dozen jump the queue.
