UA, as we discussed as been cutting flights - and even those flights are light

regarding the power line issue - my understanding from reading the banter back and forth in the news is that HECO cant just cut power to the grid (or parts of it) without a formal process that involved discussions with the State of Hawaii (or some state government department).... I also dont know if a down single line can be instantly turned off?
Delta has been cancelling one of their two turns from LAX. They had a morning turn that left LA around 8 and left OGG around 1. That's been cancelled for some of my trips. I prefer that one in both directions to their later turn which is around 5 PM leaving LAX and then a red-eye coming back. AA seems to be keeping their flights in place from LAX so far. That's pretty typical of Delta - very aggressive in cost-cutting.
