I'm biased in my opinion as I really like the plane - but yes it was too early in my books. Seeing how full planes are at times, it would have helped to relieve the situation. However it most probably was not financially viable.
Miss it these days when passing through CDG, while LH and BA can't get enough of it (although BA seems to be having lots of technical issues with them) but despite this, they seem to be keeping it for the coming years as they plan to renew the cabins soon.
