For outskirts/resort experience I'm looking at Kasbah Tamadot, Fairmont, and Amanjena. Does anyone have strong feelings about any of these choices?
Obviously your trip has come and gone but I just wanted to give a thumbs up to the El Fenn. I stayed there last July and it was a wonderful stay. The rooms are beautiful, the bar and restaurant are great and the staff is amazing. The only con is the heat, even with the air conditioning running non-stop all day and night it never gets cool (but as you said, it's July in Marrakech.)

I would definitely recommend it to anybody wanting to stay in a riad.
