At certain angles and zoom the terminal map shows a bag drop shortcut at door 2 which is closer to the D pier. However it’s really tricky to make this label appear. OTOH the one at door 12 is clearly marked.

Can anyone confirm there is indeed a bag drop shortcut at door 2?
You would still go through main security entry point by Terminal 3, walk past E gates and corridor between E and D. Don't think there is any time savings either way.
