And the tram can't get operational soon enough. The bus sucks, as well as the traffic in the horseshoe. I've been budgeting 30 minutes to get from garage to terminal and vv. Which is way too long.
I parked my car at the Economy Parking from Thursday morning to Monday night.
The structure was pretty full. I was not able to find a single space with an operating EV charger. Numerous EV spots were occupied by fossil fuel powered vehicles. The available EV chargers on the 3rd level were not operational and were covered by black plastic trash bags.
The gate opened automatically as I arrived and when I left, although you have to pull right up to the bar for it to open and it takes a few seconds to process.
The shuttles situation was abominable. At 5:30 am we had to wait for longer than 15 minutes for the bus to arrive at the structure. There were at least three dozen people waiting for it. Monday night at 11:00 pm at T5, I had to wait for over 20 minutes for a shuttle to arrive; then, three of them arrived all at once. In the meantime, at least five LAXit shuttles passed my location, as well as several employees parking lot buses and Green Line Shuttles. Traffic in the inner bus lanes was free flowing, at least on the south side of the airport.
