Think it's already been said, but I was able to do two one-way rentals this summer - one from EWR to YYZ, and one from YYZ back to LGA (had a car to use in Toronto from my fiance's family and we had our dog to bring up, so we had to drive). No issues whatsoever. I do think being an Executive Elite member helps though...
