Booked a 1 King room on a Saturday night for $374 plus taxes and fees as a Globalist. Asked for and received a 2 queen with balcony (no king with balcony available). Room was immediately available at 1PM. Asked for 1PM checkout the next day and was granted. Was not offered a glass of wine at check in as implied by the resort fee but also didn't ask. Two water bottles but no snacks in the room; I thought the beds were fantastic and the pour over coffee in the room was quite good as well.

You can clearly tell the pool is from a motor lodge; it's a little small and while the lounge chairs surrounding it are nice it still feels a little tired. There's a nice relaxation area behind the spa but it's unclear if you need to be patronizing the spa to use it; we didn't try. Had dinner at Fleetwood (the hotel restaurant). Reasonably priced; marg pizza was solid but shrimp pasta pretty mediocre. Ordered two entrees, smoothie, coffee, OJ for breakfast and had the whole thing (maybe 60 bucks plus tax and tip) taken off without prompting.

Overall, considering hotel prices in wine country I would stay again for this rate but not for the 500+ it's currently advertised at. I much prefer Calistoga to other Napa county towns, the fact that it's the farthest north scares off most of the tourists (alsp I personally still prefer Healdsburg and Sonoma, but personal preference). The taxes in Napa county are also pretty exorbitant; resort fee was of course taken off but if it were to be included there was roughly $95 in various taxes and fees.
