The Delta gate agent said to definitely NOT board the plane unless you live on Maui or had pressing business on Maui or were going in relation to the situation there. I would be pretty pissed as a business owner on Maui who isn’t affected by the fire. Maui officials aren’t going to bail the affected business out, and will just say get a SBA loan. But the name of the game is debt; so just let the entirety of Maui keep on going into debt. The winners are FHB and BOH, and the common folks are the losers again.
Matter time before rest of Maui gets bought out.
Throw it into the big pile of bad decisions made by Hawaii politicians.
