I have been back/forth twice since the fires - the first was that first night when every flight was packed.... now the loads are a fraction of what they have been
UA, as we discussed as been cutting flights - and even those flights are light
Coming back today - I was going to SFO-KOA-OGG and the SFO-KOA looked like <20% load.... ended up SFO-HNL-OGG and that was very light
regarding the power line issue - my understanding from reading the banter back and forth in the news is that HECO cant just cut power to the grid (or parts of it) without a formal process that involved discussions with the State of Hawaii (or some state government department).... I also dont know if a down single line can be instantly turned off?
