How are the lines , wait times for breakfast?
( without the daily food credit -- Which I actually prefer ) , we are kind of captive for breakfast.

How is customer Do the really expect people to log on 60 days in advance for consecutive days to reserve a papaya ?
I know its not a massive property -- 355 rooms ( aka The Diplomat in Hollywood FL ) but when I look at the resorts own photo of the beach , it looks massive with a zillion papayas. Is it hectic and lines like the Atlantis
Also how is the beach lunch , ( service)
The pools are huge!
I assume that they won't be heated in December?
What would the ocean temperature typically be in late December?

My other option ( From New York City) is cabos. I have the Los Cabos Hilton booked on standard points and hoping that Los Cabos Waldorf opens up standard rooms for 110,000 before the cancellation deadline for Cabos Hilton.
I stayed maybe 15 years ago at Los Cabos Hilton and sent my parents twice for 6 nights for 100K point --- Not per night-- 100K all in ! Ah the salad days .
I read the recent reviews and the trendline is not great ,

My priorities are
Not having to rent a Car
1- swimmable pools
2- Ideally warm , calm ocean
3- reasonable ( obviously resort prices ) food.
4- prefer no casino , but not a deal breaker. I think with an on property casino , some quests tend to smoke.

Ex. Was going to do Monarch Beach Waldorf this summer and saw the food prices and passed.
