I was planning on entering HK this coming week and am so excited b/c I have never been and its been at the top of my list for ages.

I noticed the US moved HK maybe 1 level up on the Travel list and along with just knowing the Mainland has exercised more control there in the last few years is there any reason to reconsider going in?

I've done all sorts of crazy countries in South America and been all over Mexico and have never had any problems but obviously this would be a diff. situation. I have 17 hours and really want to leave the airport and see The Peak, and do a night market and check out Causeway Bay but just wanted to ask if anyone has been recently and what its like and am I totally worrying over nothing?
