After covid, CX uses a new feature of the amadeus system. You can no longer book the ticket via GCC by providing your credit card number to the hotline agent. All payment has to be settled with the payment link. As the payment is verified by the bank through security code, CX will not verify your card again. There is no such thing now.

In the past, silver or above members were not required to verify the card used when they make the booking for themselves and any third parties. Other passengers will need to verify the card used if payment was settled offline.
