I ended up using Lyft, but it also has multiple cards ending in 1000, it was impossible to tell them apart and I had to delete both and add the right one back.
Very frustrating. Comes up again and again.
I totally agree with this. I do have 2 cards ending with the same last 4 digits added to Uber so it is possible to have that in your account.
I have a personal Platinum and Gold card that have the same last 4 digits but the 5th is different so I'd be able to tell them apart if I'm shown the last 5 digits instead of just 4. Personal Plat is there to get the monthly credit and the Gold is for paying uber eats orders to get 4x points.
I did not know you can assign nicknames so I just tried doing that by editing the payment method. However, in order to add the nickname they ask me to input the CVV code and they are not accepting the 3 digit code from the back of the card nor can I put in the 4 digit code from the front as the max number of digits they allow in that field is 3. So there goes adding a nickname. I don't want to delete any payment method and re-add because I am well aware that uber can give you difficulty adding a payment method and then I'll be stuck without one or both of these cards in my account.
